The elevation of the Kirigamine Highland ranges from about 1,600 to 1,925 meters, and although winters are cold, the area boasts a high percentage of clear skies and offers a variety of outdoor activities such as snowshoe hiking.

※There is no public transportation from the neaest train station to the assembly point. Please come by private car or taxi. It takes 25 minites by car to the Kirigamine Ski Area from JR Kamisuwa station.

During this season, temperatures in Kirigamine& Kurumayama-kata area can drop to minus even on sunny days. Please bring warm clothing (down jacket or ski wear), hat, gloves, sunglasses, hot drinks, lunch, chocolate or other snacks, and hiking boots or boots that can withstand the cold.
Some rental winter boots are available. Please let us know the size and quantity of your shoes at the time of registration.
Snowshoe and stock rental is included in the tour fee.
